Lionheart Technologies Announces Appointment of Briar Alpert as President of Bio-Tek Instruments, Inc.

Lionheart Technologies  today announced the appointment of Mr. Briar Alpert as President of Bio-Tek Instruments, Inc. Bio-Tek Instruments, Inc. is a subsidiary of Lionheart Technologies, Inc. In this new role, Mr. Briar Alpert will report to Dr. Norman Alpert, President of Lionheart Technologies, Inc.

Mr. Alpert brings to the position a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Master of Business Administration degree, both obtained from the University of Vermont. Prior to joining Bio-Tek, Mr. Alpert worked as a Project Engineer for Pizzagalli Construction. On January 6, 1986, Mr. Alpert joined the Bio-Tek team as a Manufacturing Engineer. This was the first of many positions that Mr. Alpert would hold within the organization over the next 14 years, including positions in marketing, research & development, project management and most recently in executive management as General Manager and Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Eric Perron, former President of Bio-Tek Instruments, Inc. will continue to serve in his present role as President of LTEH, Lionheart Technologies European Holding, also a subsidiary of Lionheart Technologies, Inc. This will include overall responsibility for LTEH’s five companies in Europe: Bio-Tek Italy, Bio-Tek Germany, Bio-Tek United Kingdom, Bio-Tek France, and Bio-Tek Switzerland. Mr. Perron will also continue in his role as Vice President of Lionheart Technologies, Inc.
